11 Days Into 2011

The first week of 2011 is officially over. This means two things:

1. It’s safe to go back to the gym now.

2. The buzz of the “new year” has almost worn off.

I’ve been restructuring my days, spending less time online and more time in my music room.  And I’ve simplified things by tracking my time on only a few important projects.

As a result of this shift in my focus, I feel I have less to talk about here on the blog!

I’ve been more of an observer online over the past week, and I’m enjoying the change of pace.

So I’ll just share with you one of the best things I’ve read online in the past few days. If you set goals/resolutions at the beginning of the year, I highly recommend that you read this great article from Merlin Mann:

Resolved: Stop Blaming The Pancake

Oh my gosh; I laughed when you wrote that it’s now safe to go back to the gym. I always have that thought around the beginning of the year: I’d better bundle up and go for a run, because the gym will be way too full. But yes, I went this weekend, and it’s definitely safe again. Plenty of room.
