The #1 most important piece of information I can share with you...MY GIRLFRIEND IS NOMINATED FOR A GEMINI! (“Gemini” = “Emmy” for Canadians)
If you read my post from last Friday, you’ll know that she is CBC’s Mamma Yamma. She has been nominated for “Best Performance in a Childrens’ or Youth Program or Series.” I’m very proud of her and she totally deserves this recognition for her amazing work.
New music to be released on September 8th
I bumped into my friend, Ray, the other night. He told me that he’s about to embark on a little solo tour through Europe, and he’s got a great new album coming out on Sept 8th. You can hear his stuff at myspace.com/pinkmoth. Also being released to the world on Sept 8th is an album that I’m proud to have played on…Amy Millan’s Masters Of The Burial. I’m pretty excited for that release.
My website launch
I’ve been working on this website for a few months now, and I’m just about ready to tell people about it. So far I’ve only told about 30 people. Tuesday, September 1st is the day.

Hey Christine! Tell Ali good luck from me and Marlie. Marlie is starting to understand that the characters she sees have real people behind them ie: Ali is Mamma Yamma and the kid from Wizards of Waverly Place is Diego from Go Diego Go, so she wants Mamma Yamma and Ali to win.
I just Googled Mamma because my daughter always watches Kids CBC. Actually, I absolutely ADORE Mamma Yamma! Hands down my favourite kids character right now. She’s amazing. Congratulations to Ali Eisner for an incredible job!
