best audiobook
Wishful Drinking – Carrie Fisher
I’m sure it’s a great read, but wouldn’t you rather have it read to you by Carrie Fisher herself?
I listened to this short audiobook (it’s only 3 hrs long) in it’s entirety while sitting in the back of the van, driving through Alberta. It is, hands down, the most entertaining audiobook I’ve ever listened to.
Thanks to Amy for 1) having great taste, and 2) letting me listen to her copy.
Other fantastic non-fiction books I loved in 2009…
- The Creative Habit – Twyla Tharp
- On Writing - Stephen King
- Spark: The Revolutionary New Science of Exercise and the Brain – John J. Ratey
- The Rest Is Noise - Alex Ross
…I’d like to write an entire series of posts for each of these books. Maybe in 2010?
What did you love reading in 2009?
