And now for something completely different…

I just signed up to participate in Gwen Bell’s Best Of 2009 Blog Challenge, which means that I will be posting something every day for the month of December.  I’m used to doing just 2 posts each week (Tuesdays and Fridays), so wish me luck!

Here I go…

Q: What was your best trip in 2009?

A: This year, music brought me so many places. Most memorably: I had 3 amazing days off in LA,  got to bike around beautiful San Francisco for a day, and had my mind blown at the National Air and Space Museum in Washington, DC.  But these were all part of a tour…zipping through 19 cities in 26 days.  My most expansive trip this year, by far.

Yet, I’d have to say that the best trip in 2009 happened pretty close to home.  Ali and I went to a friend’s cottage in the Muskokas in late August, and even though it was a really short visit, it was the most relaxing, fun and recharging of any trip I had all year.
