Best Of ’09: Stationery

Today’s Best of 2009 Blog Challenge prompt is:

Stationery. When you touch the paper, your heart melts. The ink flows from the pen. What was your stationery find of the year?

I’m a fan of the Moleskine, and have been using this one for years.  By the end of the year, it has transformed into a book of crossed-off to’do’s.

In February of 2009 I discovered Knock Knock’s series of Logs.  I bought the Mind Log and the Health Log, kept them on my bedside table for many months, and tracked stuff like my moods, dreams, sleeps, and exercise. Yes, I like to track things.

Sadly, I think they’ve discontinued the Mind Log, but they do still sell the Health Log.

If it wasn’t for that fun-to-fill-out exercise log, I don’t think I would have developed the habit to exercise.  Seeing my progress on paper motivates me.

i’m so good at starting journals like this, full of crossed off lists and things i want to track. my problem always comes in finishing the notebook before i run to start a new one! i envy you the ability to finish a notebook full of lists!

I’m SUCH a list/write it down person! Even though I have a phone with a calendar, I still have a written one… such a BIG NERD lol.
