Today’s Best of 2009 Blog Challenge question is…
Q: What’s the best change you made to the place you live?
A: Looking back on 2009, I realized that we made a lot of changes to our home. It seems our living space is in constant flux. We’re adding things, fixing things and giving stuff away all the time. This year, we swapped the living room and dining room areas (a huge improvement), totally transformed the kitchen, and solved some major storage issues by getting bigger dressers.
One of the biggest changes – and one that we can’t believe we waiting so long to make – was to put up lots of shelves…everywhere. Where was all this stuff before we had the shelves? That’s a mystery to me.
We always have new art and new toys to display, and this year we added 3 prints by Willow Dawson…
I love our Space Invaders corner at the top of the stairs. We got these from blik.com (we also got the Super Mario ones, too. just haven’t put them up yet)
a reminder on the way to the kitchen every morning…
We put up our Elvis and Hebrew themed Christmas tree on Dec 2nd…

Oh my gosh; your home is terrific and colorful and fun. I especially love the “This is awesome” sign (that’s what it says, right?). I may have to make something like that for the new year.

@Kylie – yep, that’s what it says. it’s the name of my last album, so the banner was made for the CD Release last December. it’s been up in the house ever since then.
