Defining Moment: Getting My Driver’s License

Almost at the finish line here of this Reverb10 challenge.

Today’s prompt is from Kathryn Fitzmaurice:

Describe a defining moment or series of events that has affected your life this year.

In February of 2010 I got my G2.

I had no desire to get my driver’s license as a teen. I preferred walking, biking, or even taking the bus. And well, my older sister had a car, so I did get a ride here and there.

Things change. Now I need to be able to drive to gigs with a car full of gear. And to share some of the driving duties on tour.

Passing that road test was a great moment for me.

Thanks for reading these posts all month! Hope the prompts have inspired some of your own reflecting.

Home stretch. 2 more days to go…
