Yesterday morning I opened up the last grant results letter I’d been waiting for (from Ontario Arts Council).

If you’ve ever applied for a grant, you know that feeling of anticipation when the letter arrives…ripping it open, scanning for those key words…

Damn!

Rejection.

Time for Plan B.

OK.  So this morning I set up a page to accept donations/pre-orders for my next album, Aloha Supreme.

• $25 – free digital download of the album + signed, advance copy of the CD (I’ll pay the shipping fee to mail it to you!)

• $50 – free digital download of the album + signed, advance copy of the CD + one of my previous CD’s (either “Hammy’s Secret Life” or “This Is Awesome”…whichever one you’d like)

• $100 – free digital download of the album + signed, advance copy of the CD + BOTH of my previous CD’s + a huge thank you in the liner notes (as long as it’s before Aug 1st, so I can submit the liner notes in time to be printed)
