I was playing around with my loop station one day and came up with this:

It reminds me of 90′s Sting for some reason.  Anyway, I charted it out and brought it to the Tranzac to play with Dafydd.  It became a part of our repertoire and eventually we recorded it.  After months of playing it, this is what it evolved into…

And then, our friend Josh Van Tassel did a beautiful remix of it…

Everything is a collaboration, really.  Every step along the way creates a twist and turn that you couldn’t have predicted.

Tomorrow I start recording my album.  I’m already daydreaming about Josh doing a dreamy remix.
