Mamma Yamma & Saumon De Champlain: “We’re Still Friends”

by Christine Bougie | January 15th, 2010

My brain is fried from the many rehearsals, gigs and recordings I’ve had this week, not to mention the hours I’ve spent transcribing Pet Sounds for Monday’s show.  So, I’m afraid I don’t have the brain power to write a real blog post.  Instead, I’m going to share with you a lovely video of my girlfriend (Ali Eisner, a.k.a. Mamma Yamma) singing a duet with a fish on Kids’ CBC.

If you hang around here, then you know there are days when all I want to blog about is Ali.  Today is one of those days.

I’m always so impressed and inspired by her creativity and work ethic. This video captures so many of her talents -  as a songwriter, singer, and performer/puppeteer.

Enjoy!

(p.s. if you’re reading this by email, you may have to go to my site to see the video)

Happy Friday!
