I’ve always been interested in making music for films. About a year ago, I had an opportunity to try my hand at it. The director had already hired someone to do the score, but was having doubts about it. I was asked to come up with something really quick. Since I didn’t end up getting the job (they stuck with the first choice, which is fair), I can’t reveal any details about the film, but I can share my demo of the opening credits.
One hint – the film involved babies, and some weird science.
Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.
(keep in mind that it’s just a demo, so the sound quality isn’t that high….and I’m playing all the insturments)
I rarely have to create on demand in that way, and I learned a lot from the experience.
Maybe someday I’ll do a whole film!
