My Helpful Cowboy

Writing to you from Saint John, NB. ┬áNo show last night, but we parked the bus in town a day early for a night off. I brought my Flash costume and hoped to find some Halloween fun, but it was kind of a ghost town. I didn’t see ONE person dressed up last night!

Oh well, at least I got to wear the costume on stage for Saturday night’s show.

What I’m really bummed about is missing Halloween with Ali! She went as a handsome cowboy…

gratitude

I’m so lucky to have such a generous, thoughtful and helpful girlfriend. The past few weeks have been crazy, trying to prepare all this stuff for the new CD. The CD that arrived 4 hours before I had to leave for this tour!

I wouldn’t have been able to get all this stuff together without her.

When I realized I forgot to put the year on the back of the CD, she calmed me down and took me out on a spontaneous date.

When I needed to get a poster and flyers made for the upcoming CD Release show, she had them printed within 12 hours.

When I ran out of time to finish mailing all the pre-orders, she took care of it the next morning while I was already in Montreal.

Thank you so much, Ali! You’re the best. xo
