“Hello Cruel World” by Gretchen Peters

We filmed this little video the other day in Leamington Spa, UK, just making the deadline for Couch By CouchWest. Tammy Wynette’s trailer sits in the greenroom at the venue, full of glass and mirrors and pink. We couldn’t resist.

Everybody in Ireland has been SO nice! So far we’ve played Galway, Roscrea, Kilworth, Dublin and Limavady. Tonight we finish off the Irish leg of the tour in Belfast.

We’ve had a run on gear malfunctions recently. My volume pedal broke down while playing on live radio. Had to buy a new one in London. Then one of the tubes my amp died in the middle of a show. Bought some new tubes the next morning in Dublin. Barry’s sustain pedal broke and he had to pick up a new one. Gretchen has a minor guitar issue that we’re still trying to fix. The wear and tear of touring. Knock on wood that we’re in the clear from now on!

Off to soundcheck now…

In Ireland. All I can say is that it was an unforgettable one.
