It’s Friday!  Wow. This week went by so fast.

I was lucky to have Ali come out to a couple of my shows this week and take some pictures. Enjoy!

I got to play with Colleen and Paul for a Warchild benefit at The Dakota on Monday night.  That’s me on the drums way in the back…and Doug Friessen (bass) is hiding behind Colleen…

Thursday afternoon’s gig with Amy Millan was a TIFF event at the Hard Rock Cafe.  Weird place.  First time I’ve played there.

Thursday evening’s gig was also sort of a TIFF event…I guess.  I played with Julie Fader at the Drake.  Ali couldn’t make it to this one, so no pics.  But here’s one of Julie’s boots (from her CD Release at the Dakota) …

Tonight (Friday Sept 18th) I’ll be at Hugh’s Room with Roxanne Potvin.  Tomorrow: I’ll be back at Hugh’s Room with Rita Chiarelli.  Ah, I love when I get to leave my amp at a venue.

After 2 insanely busy weeks of gigging and rehearsing, I’m ready to spend some time at home.  Time to write some grant applications!  Last chance to get Canada Council’s Grant for Specialized Sound Recording.  Boo.

My only gig next week is at The Tranzac on Monday (Sept 21st, 7pm).  I’ll be playing original, very quiet music with Dafydd Hughes.
