Suburban Hideaway

I sat down with my guitar, a blank slate, and the intention to write a new album. This is the first thing I wrote. It remained untitled for a while, but I knew the idea behind it had to do with hiding out in the suburbs.

This is not mixed yet for the album, but I think it sounds pretty good already…

Credits:

Christine Bougie – acoustic guitars, electric guitars, drums, glock, lap steel, bass, tambourine, shaker
Joshua Van Tassel – co-producer, engineer
Recorded at Verge Music Lab 2012

The view from the front window of my parents’ house. This is where I grew up and luckily I can still go back anytime.
